Add services to the Geoide Author

By adding services to the Geoide Author you can later refer to these services for retrieving layerinformation. It is necessary to know the URL of the service, the type of service (WMS, WFS or GI), the version number and if the service is secured.

Steps

With these steps, you can add services to the Geoide Author

1. Start the Geoide Author.

2. Click the tab Servers.

3. Go to the folder in the tree Servers, the + button to add servers appears under the tree.

4. Click this + button. The New server window opens.

5. Fill in the fields. The fields have tooltips.

> Go to help with Server Properties

6. Confirm the creation of the new service by clicking on OK.

The new service appears in the tree and can be used when creating a new context.

7. Save changes by clicking on Save at the bottom of the screen of the Geoide Author.

You can now continue with creating a context.

> Main Page > Configuring the Geoide Viewer with the Geoide Author > Add services to the Geoide Author
