Image:tip.png Not all styles can be created by OpenJump (for instance a graphic fill is not possible).

Preferable workflow is as follows:
  • save a more simple style first.
  • edit the style in an XML editor.

Steps

1. Open a WFS layer in OpenJump.

> Help on Opening WFS layers in OpenJump

2. Click with the right mouse button on the WFS layer and select Change Styles

3. Use the Rendering tab of the Change Styles window to:.

  • change the color, fill pattern, border and transparancy of polygon;
  • change the color and thickness of line elements;
  • change the bitmap for displaying a point.

4a. Now you can load the style to an SLD using the menu option Layer->Transform layer into SLD

or

4b. Save the style at the Geoide server using the menu option Geoide -> Import Style in remote Geoide
