The zoomslider (from Geoide Base Application version 1.0) offers zooming and panning รก la Google Maps. The zoomslider is by default enabled in the configuration. You can disable or customize the zoomslider via the Geoide Author.

Scale steps

The zoomslider uses scale steps, as defined in the Map Properties zijn gedefinieerd. You can change this using the Geoide Author':

1. Start the Geoide Author

2. Go to the tab Contexts and Maps

3. Click the map you want to adjust the zoomslider for.

4. Adjust the following Map Properties:

  • Add to Scales the values you want to use as zoom steps in the zoomslider.
  • Check Clamp to scale (checkbox under the fields Min Y en Max Y) to let the zoomslider automatically jump to the closest available scale step.
  • Tiling server: When using a tiling server, and after adding this server at the tab servers, then you can copy the predefined scales from the server and tiling matrix. Choose the tiling server and matrix. Click on Copy scales. The scales appear on the left side in the field Scales.

5. Click Save at the bottom of the Geoide Author to save the changes on the server.

Enable-/disable and customize lay-out

1. Start the Geoide Author

2. Go to the tab Viewer configurations

3. Click in the tree the Viewer configuration you want to customize.

4. Click the item Map Viewer

5. Enable/disable the zoomslider.

6. Customize the lay-out:

The default values are:

  • X= position in percentage from left
  • Y= position in percentage from above
  • Width= width in pixels
  • Height= height in pixels
Adjust the colors by clicking the colored box.
The default colors are:
  • white: FFFFFF
  • gray: 505050
  • green: A2D273

7. Click Save at the bottom of the Geoide Author to save the changes on the server.
