Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Changes are only stored on the server after clicking on Save at the bottom of the Geoide Author.
- Name. Fill in the name of the new group layer. This name is used for identification and should therefore be unique.
- Owner. The login name is automatically entered as "owner" of the new group layer. You cannot change it.
- Scope. In this field you can choose between "private" and "public". See [[ General_principles#Scope (public/private) | Scope (public/private)]
- Title. Fill in the title of the group layer. You can specify the title in English (en), Netherlands (nl) and German (de). The title appears in the legend of the map and the tree of the Geoide Author.
- Layer info url: refers to the information on the group layer. The Group layer name in the legend becomes 'clickable', which opens to the specified URL.
- Legend. This field indicates whether the group layer when launching the Geoide Viewer should be visible in the legend (Initially visible), should be expanded in the legend (Expanded in legend) and should be included in the legend (Shown in legend).
- Scale Hint. Enter the minimum and maximum scale at which it makes sense to display map information. This scale overrules the scale hint included in the individual layers of the group layer. Default no scale hint is ‘imposed’ to the underlying layers.
