Introduction

The Geoide Viewer uses pop-up windows. You can change the properties of the pop-up window in the Geoide Viewer through the Geoide Author.

Overview pop-up windows

The following pop-up windows are available:

  • AboutViewer: window with information on Geoide.
  • AddLayer: window for adding a layer in the viewer.
  • AuthenticationComponent: session window.
  • FeatureInfoViewer: Feature Info
  • HelpViewer: displays help for the Geoide Viewer.
  • InfoPopUp: Information.
  • LegendViewer: window with legend.
  • MapPicker: window for choosing a map.
  • OverViewer: window with overview map.
  • PrintDialog: displays the print dialog.
  • PrintPreview: screen with the print preview.
  • PropertiesViewer: screen showing the changes made on attribute data.
  • QueryBuilder: screen to search for items.
  • SelectBySelectionComponent:screen to select object by object into another layer.
  • ZoomInXY: screen to zoom into x-and y-coordinate.

Customizing pop-up windows

1. Go to the Geoide Author and the tab Viewer Configurations.

2. Click on the Viewer configuration you want to adjust.

3. Click on the folder Screen in the tree. Open the folder with the arrow infront of it. The list of available screens will appear.

For every screen, the button states, which activates the screen. You can not change.
Depending on the type of screen, the following settings are available:
  • Title: Specifies the title of the display. The title is shown in the Geoide Viewer at the top of the screen. You can specify the title in Dutch (nl), German (de) and English (en).
  • Colors: Specifies the color of the screen and change the screen edge. You can reset the colors to always to restore the default values.
  • Transparency: indicate whether a window should be transparent. The extent of transparency cannot be changed.
  • InitiallyVisible: indicate whether the window should be opened when the viewer is started.
  • Position: position of the screen in pixels relative to the left corner of the viewer when it is opened. You can display the Geoide Viewer incidentally dragging.
  • Width: Width of the screen in pixels.
  • Height: Height of screen in pixels.
  • Url: Url link for the content of the screen.
On the screen, the action buttons Query Builder and ZoomInXY may be available at the bottom of this pop-up screen. This depends on how the search input properties are configured.

4: Save changes using the Save at the bottom of the screen of the Geoide Author.
