CatalogSearchButton. With Geoide Search you can search the catalog for data sets and services. You can access Geoide Search using the CatalogSearchButton button in the Geoide Viewer. You can instantly search the catalog by a keyword or use the Theaurus on theme, synonyms and translations can be involved in the search. If you search for "aerial photo" and if you check the language box 'german', the search result will also give german version of data and services with the german translation; in this case with the term "Luftbild". You can also specify the location to look for data (for example: just a rural area, or just for a specific province). In some cases it is possible to add the found layer temporarily to the Geoide Viewer.
The success of the search is highly dependent on the quality of the meta-data in the data sets.
